There was someone I knew

I walked beside her day into day, and each step was made in anticipation of the next. We were lovers and we lost ourselves in the moment. A heart united was not divided, and she held me close. So close that I was sure of everything she had to offer. I would awaken to her coffee as we sipped.., in cool winter morning. A stare from my eyes to hers was all we needed. To touch her hand and hold her palm in mine.

Looking into her I saw all possible ways to live, she filled my mind with thought, and I was focused. A day is gone and night is forever broken when we seek without understanding the ways of our passion mistaken. Desire fills my lungs seeking sensual reunification of body and mind. A tender touch is what we shared, a joyous night is what we dreamed, and befallen to age is what we await. Keep not secrets locked in pride; there are more important matters…

I subdue my emotion to keep a standing in the community, yet I would not wait a second to embrace you. Do what you must to find a realization about what really matters in life. We are not blind to grudges and misunderstandings, and we can rise above any moment in time. There has never been anything that we as a people can not make right. You do not allow someone into your life unless you care about them. Just because some things I do scare you, does not make me a false romantic ideal. I stand on my feet and implore you to reconsider.

The experience we share can not be reproduced. Ours is a once in a lifetime love not beholden to the rules of peoples opinions. We choose who we will talk to, and we understand the troubled times~ one goes through, and how it sometimes affects the way they think. I open my heart to you with persistence that your soul knows and wishes to commune with my soul. In this place, we can move forward into lighted pleasure. A place only you and I can share, a place not given to any other couple, nor given to be experienced by another. Only you and I will ever know what we have become.
