Stealing of the Faith. A small town in the early morning… A preacher has spent all night searching and researching.., he has a message to pray. He has spent years in the study of the book, and as of late his sermons have been attracting local attention, and the people said he was good. We “thought” this could never happen.., we refused to challenge the media, and yet TV preachers steal these sermons from us by using spies in the congregation of our local churches. Just because this small church was not known, does not mean that its’ message was not spoken well...
How is it that the people on TV Bible shows whom represent the church` “never” have humble sermons? It is Always` about getting rich in America; is not that the love of money??? Yet, no one has the power to address the issue. We see these TV preachers saying they are doing good in the world? How come we never see the paper trail on places that can verify what the elders spent the 10% tithe on? If a million people give 10% to one TV preacher show, that is at least $40million a month for that teacher of The Word. Such great money given to these TV preachers, yet they live tax free and claim non-profit status of their expenditures and sermons...
As this is quite different in the local church of which you attend. That money is accounted for, and “you know where your money” given to God is spent. We need to regulate religious capitalistic ideological abuses! It is not righteous to prostitute` Jesus for the sole purpose of making money!!! When preachers talk about God and offer “God Faith” at a price, we must wonder about those who lead these simple Christian people. Is it not amazing that these TV institutions have worshipers from all over the world watching in hope.., and donations… How often do poor people give money to these TV talkers and shakers of faith? If the masses are being fed a lie in the name of God’ and righteous church people do not stand up and protest, there is no reason to think your faith will get you closer to Jesus…
If you do not care about what the Bible is used for, then you do not protect it. It is most important that the word of God “not be sold” for salvation. When we allow TV preachers to define Christian Faith for the masses, the local church becomes weaker and weaker. You can go to many local and upstanding churches and find the congregations dwindling… Is it because they do not teach love and forgiveness? I think not. The old churches have grown our last generation’ the ones who fought WW2. As this new generation builds the future church, what will be their accountability?
