God Does Not Create Quitters

Who are you to think you cannot do it? What limitations do you put on yourself? Like fear controlling our lives, we never do anything meaningful. We work hard, we take care of our own, and we spend hours watching the television tube. However, how often do we do activities with other people? That’ makes the world a better place to live in. We all live in our own neighborhood. How many of us know our next-door neighbor by their first name? How often have we invited our neighbors over for a lunch or a dinner, too spend time getting better acquainted? How often in times of need would it not have been nice if we could have turned to our neighbor with any problem! Knowing’ they trusted us as much as we trust them. In the world built on that foundation, people get things done.

The reason most people despise God is because he asked us to make friendships based on honesty. We think if we do not admit to that, God cannot find fault with our selfishness. We secretly hide behind excuses for not meeting our neighbor. It’s not like he’s on another planet; he is my fellow citizen. She is someone who lives in the high-rise. Our neighbors can be in the big city, or the rural town. Those of us who enjoy happiness in either place have been open and truly concerned about our neighbor. We have come to know our neighbor and his/her likes and dislikes. In times of emergency, we can call our neighbor to be there for us. This is what good social interaction is all about. One of the many reason people voted to have churches in their neighborhood was defined: that they can meet their neighbors in a safe environment.

In God’s house, most people are apt to be there for some reason… Possibly they are true believers who wish to praise and worship God, others are there because they’re lonely and just wish to be around people of the same game plan, and others are there to deceive, rob, and rape their neighbor. It takes good conversation with any person to unveil their true character, and their true motivations. Most people are generally pretty decent folk with their own private perverse pleasures. However, they are not harmful, they are just in bodies that have passions. There is a Safeway to release passions be it sexually, intellectually, or spiritually. It is definitely best when you mix all three. At least I have found that to be the case for me.

I cannot remember all the times- I have felt betrayed in life. I have enough common sense to not allow myself to repeat the same mistake with the same personality types. In getting to know my neighbor, my intention is to discern their true worth, and encourage them to increase their self-worth. I think it’s an amazing fact that when people pray together in a large gang of people, they can put a stop to all the crime and violence in their neighborhood. The more time people spend out in the open, the less time they have to waste on petty projects. By getting involved with my neighbor and my neighborhood’s political and social functions. I become a better citizen of the land I live in. I’m not only speaking of my love for America~ But’ any country, my actions show I have true concern for another human being, and God smiles on that. Amen.
